IBSA recently concluded a successful two-day West Asia Women’s Development Workshop in Amman, Jordan, supported by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) IF grant and organized with the Jordan National Paralympic Committee.

Ms. Aurora Zanolin, President of the IBSA Goalball Committee, opened the workshop by thanking the IPC, IBSA, and the Jordanian Paralympic Committee for their support and collaboration.

Over the two days, participants engaged in sessions covering the development of women’s goalball, visual impairment, and coaching fundamentals. There was a presentation on the psychosocial aspects of women’s participation in sports, focusing on goalball.

The theoretical sessions covered orientation and mobility principles, coaching fundamentals, and goalball rules and techniques. The workshop concluded with a practical session on the goalball court and a certificate ceremony.
