The Field of Teams Grows Smaller at the 2015 IBSA World Youth Games

Today, pool play at the 2015 IBSA World Youth Games Goalball competition came to a close, reducing the number of teams to the final eight boys and girls teams who will compete for their respecitve world championships titles.
The previously undefeated boys from Germany and the undefeated girls from the United States finished pool play without a loss, finishing at the top of their respective pools.
The German boys will face the United States in their semifinal match. Sweden and Hungary will go to battle in the other semifinal boys match. The winners of these matches will advance to the gold medal game.
In their semifinal match, the girls from the United States will face China. In the other girls semifinal match, Germany and Canada will square off in hopes of playing in the final match for gold.
