Marseille, France, will play host to an international Goalball tournament this June.
 
The tournament will take place on the weekend of June 29-30. Teams are asked to arrive on Friday afternoon after 4pm and depart on the Monday after breakfast.
 
The tournament is open to both club and national teams but the organisers would like to limit it to one team per nation. Both men’s and women’s teams are welcome. Up to 8 men’s teams and 6 women’s teams will be able to participate.
 
The invitation is also extended to IBSA level III or II referees per participating team. This means that a total of up to 12 referees are welcome. All costs for referees during the tournament will be covered excluding travel costs to and from Marseille.
 
This tournament could be a great opportunity for many countries looking for a warm-up event prior to upcoming regional championships. It is also a chance to support a developing Goalball nation.
