IBSA Tenpin Bowling World Championships conclude in Japan

South Korea has topped the medal table at the IBSA Tenpin Bowling World Championships 2017.
The event, which took place last week in Fukuoka, Japan, last week, brought together bowlers from twelve countries and three continents.
Korea took two gold medals in singles competitions, two in doubles, one in triples, one team gold and three golds in open events to lead the medal table at the end of the championships with nine golds. In addition, the South Koreans also bagged four silver and six bronze medals.
Hosts Japan finished second in the medal tally on three golds, two silvers and ten bronze medals.China Taipei ended in third place.
Finland was the leading country from outside Asia, completing the championships in fourth place in the medal table with one gold and four silver medals.
