IBSA Showdown has been busy lately with development plans, one major tournament and updates to key documents. Here's the latest from the sport:

1 European Top Twelve 2018

Tirrenia, near Pisa in Italy was the venue for this year's event, which brings together the top ten male and female Showdown players along with two wildcard picks in both genders for an elite tournament.

The tournament took place from November 15th to 18th.

Slovenia's Peter Zidar showed some style in cementing his place at the top of the men's game, taking gold ahead of two Polish players – Adrian Sloninka (silver) and Krystian Kisiel (bronze). Players from a total of seven countries competed.
