The latest IBSA Management Committee meeting was held with the participation of IBSA President Ilgar Rahimov, IBSA Vice President Joe Walsh, IBSA Treasurer Eigo Matsuzaki, and IBSA Executive Director Rufat Hajili.

On February 11, 2025, key issues regarding the development of the organization were discussed, including the certification system for sports equipment, the development of educational programs, and new partnerships. Other topics included classification, interaction with the International Paralympic Committee, the progress of discussions on the directions for further cooperation with the International Judo Federation, the organization of the Sports Committee Chairpersons Advisory Council, and media partnership with Inside the Games. Additionally, a preliminary discussion took place regarding the organization of the audit of IBSA’s financial activities for 2024.

Furthermore, the progress of the IBSA activity review project and preparations for the IBSA General Assembly were considered. It was decided to convene a meeting of the Coordination Council for this project in the coming days to engage in deeper discussion and analysis.

The decisions made will be presented to the IBSA Executive Board for further consideration. The organization continues to work on strengthening its structures and advancing blind sports on an international level.
