IBSA had closed all the old Anti-Doping cases

Date: February 15, 2025

Category: Uncategorized

In the last year, IBSA has analyzed and concluded all open cases of adverse analytical findings for banned substances in sports in recent years.

Some cases had simple decisions, but in others we had to work as a team with the AsPC – Asian Paralympic Committee (when the athlete was tested in a competition as the AsPC was the TA – Testing Authorit) and even took it to CAS.

In all cases, we had exceptional work from the entire department ensuring that IBSA remained in compliance with WADA and necessary requirements such as this, the publication of case decisions.

As a signatory of the World Anti-Doping Code (the WADC), the IBSA remains committed to a doping-free sporting environment at all levels. IBSA has established the IBSA Anti-Doping Code in compliance with the general principles of the WADC, including the WADC International Standards, expecting that, in the spirit of sport, it will lead the fight against doping in sport for athletes with an impairment.
