The IBSA Goalball sports committee is pleased to announce that Egypt has won the right to host the IBSA Goalball African Regional Championships.
 
The tournament will take place in Cairo, starting October 25 and finishing on October 31.
 
This is an exciting opportunity for Egypt as they attempt to qualify for the IBSA Goalball World Championships to be held in Finland next year. It has been many years since Egypt has performed at the highest level.
 
The top 2 men's teams and top women's team from each region will qualify for Finland 2014.
