IBSA Goalball Africa – conclusion of round robin

Day three was the final day of the round robin at the 2013 IBSA Goalball African Championships.
The day begun with Morocco taking on Ghana. Morocco was too strong for Ghana and won 16-6.
Match two on day three actually lasted the full distance. This was between Algeria and Egypt. Algeria, the tournament favourites, continued on their way to the title with a 9-3 win over Egypt.
All three matches during the afternoon session ended with the same score line, 10-0. The three winners were Morocco, Algeria and Egypt who all defeated Ghana, Rwanda and Kenya respectively.
Friday is a planned rest day for the teams with all finals planned for Saturday.
Kenya and Ghana will face off for 5th and 6th place.
The two semifinals will also be played between Algeria and Morocco and Rwanda and Egypt. The winners of the these two semifinals will qualify for the 2014 IBSA Goalball World Championships.
The day will conclude with the medal matches.
