IBSA Football Committee launches consultation on rule changes

The IBSA Football Committee is launching an open consultation with the global blind football community on proposed rule changes for the period 2021-2025.
The committee invites all parties involved in blind football, in whatever role, to consider what changes should be made to the current rules and submit suggestions and proposals.
All stakeholders, and in particular players, are welcome to suggest modifications to the current rules over the coming months and play an active role in shaping the future of blind football.
An email address has been set up to facilitate the process. All comments, suggestions, queries and proposals should be sent in writing to [email protected] by Sunday May 31st 2020.
The current rules remain in place until December 31st 2020 and the new rulebook will be adopted by the committee and come into force on January 1st 2021.

Timelines for rule changes
Until Sunday May 31st 2020 – all stakeholders may submit proposals, comments and suggestions to [email protected].
June-September 2020 – all proposals, comments and suggestions will be considered by the IBSA Football Committee.
By December 1st 2020 – the IBSA Football Committee will adopt and publish a final rulebook for the period 2021-2025.
