The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) announced this Monday that the three Paralympic Sports of IBSA – Goalball, Judo, and Blind Football – will be part of the Los Angeles Paralympic Games 2028.

Following an extensive review process, the IPC Governing Body confirmed the inclusion of three Sports on the Games’ programme.

IBSA’s president, Sandro di Girolamo, reacted to the news: “I am very pleased that IPC has confirmed the three IBSA disciplines for the Los Angeles Paralympics 2028. This confirms the good work done by IBSA, gratifying the seriousness and passion that we put in our mission”.

The LA28 will mark Los Angeles’ third Olympics – previously held in 1932 and 1984 – and first Paralympic Games, which, up until 1988, were hosted at a different site than the Olympic Games.
