Finland was just selected to host the men's and women's 2017 IBSA Goalball European Championships, A group.  In addition being the championship tournament for the top European competition group, the tournament will also serve as the qualification tournament for the 2018 IBSA Goalball World Championships.  Preliminary dates for the competition (including classification and training days) will be 15-23 September 2017. 

Competition venues are located in Pajulahti, home to the Pajulahti Sports Institute, one of Finland's top high performance training centers. 

This site is also home to many international competitions incuding the Pajulahti Games, familiar to many in the Goalball community.
