Starting August 28 individuals will be able to apply to be a volunteer at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. Being a volunteer at a Paralympic Games is for many a once in a lifetime experience. If you ask any former volunteer then you would find out that they never regretted their choice to volunteer. It is a way to be part of one of the world’s largest sporting events.
 
Like all sports, there are many opportunities for those who wish to volunteer specifically for goalball.
 
Interested individuals are best to contact Carla da Mata immediately on [email protected]. You are requested to complete the above volunteer form specific to goalball and enclose it in your e-mail. You will in return receive a response prior to August 28.
 
Furthermore, the official registration platform will be available on the official Rio 2016 website, www.rio2016.com, on and after August 28, 2014.
 
Those who are interested in volunteering must be 18 years of age prior to February 2016.
