This morning, the first whistle blew at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (USA), signalling the beginning of the 2015 IBSA World Youth Games.

Eleven goalball teams, representing 7 countries are all competing for the opportunity to be called World Champions.  Although, early in the competition, the fans witnessed spirited performances from these young competitiors, including exceptional performances from the German boys and USA girls.

Tomorrow, the action will heat up as all teams move deeper into the competition schedule.

The preliminary round of competition continues tomorrow and the competition continues through 31 July.
