Argentina takes top spot in updated world ranking table featuring a record 52 countries.
The IBSA Football Committee has released its updated Blind Football World Ranking as of January 1st of this year. The ranking includes points gained at a number of events in 2018, including the World Championships in Spain and the World Grand Prix in Japan.
Argentina has overtaken Brazil at the head of the table thanks to its gold medal performance in Japan and its second place finish in Spain. Brazil retains second spot ahead of China in third place, Turkey in fourth and Spain in fifth position.
The ranking table includes a record-breaking 52 countries, testimony to how the game is expanding and growing worldwide.
