Ukraine retains IBSA world football title

Ukraine held its title of IBSA Partially Sighted Football World Champions this evening in Cagliari, Italy, defeating England 3-0 in the final.
The Ukrainians took the lead after 9 minutes and led 1-0 at half time. They overcame some tough pressure from England at the start of the second half and scored the second on a counterattack.
With England utilising a fly goalkeeper in the final minutes, the Ukrainians notched their third goal with a shot from the half-way line.

Russia overcame Spain 2-1 in a penalty shoot-out to win the bronze medals following a 2-2 draw.
