Ukraine are the new IBSA European champions in partially sighted football (B2-B3 category) following yesterday's 6-2 victory in the final of the IBSA Partially Sighted Football European Championships in Antalya, Turkey.
The Ukrainians proved too strong for rivals France in the final of the event, taking a 1-0 lead into the second half and overpowering France in the second half with 5 goals.
Great Britain took bronze, defeating hosts Turkey 1-0 in a tight 3rd-4th place play-off. Spain, defending the European title they won in Italy in 2014, had a disappointing championship and finished fifth.
