U23 Blind Football Worlds opens for entries

The entry proces for the IBSA Under 23 Blind Football World Championships has now opened and hosts Colombia are asking IBSA member countries to express their interest in competing.

The championships will take place in Cartagena de Indias from February 28th 2019 to 9th March 2019 and will be hosted by the Colombian Sports Federation for the Visually Impaired (FEDELIV) at the San Fernando Football Stadium. 

The event is open to eight countries and first entries (expression of interest) are due by Monday 15th October.

Provisional schedule

Feb 28th: arrivals
March 1st: visual classification/training 
March 2nd: visual classificatin/training/technical meeting
March 3rd-5th: group stage
March 6th: rest day/training/technical meeting
March 7th: 2 semifinals in the morning/7th-8th and 5th-6th place matches in the afternoon
March 8th: 3rd-4th place match and final in the morning/closing ceremony in the evening
March 9th: departures
