While many teams are about to embark on their regional championships, others are planning tournaments for 2014. Here are two more tournaments to let you know about.
 
Both of these tournaments will also be IBSA Goalball referee clinics. This creates more chances for referees to certify under the new rules after they have been ratified.
 
Erbil Tournament
The Kurdistan Paralympic Committee is organizing an international tournament for male national teams. This tournament is open to a maximum number of eight teams. The tournament will take place from 13 March until 17 March in the Iraqi Kurdistan capital of Erbil.
Starting 11th March will also be a referee’s clinic for those who wish to recertify or become an IBSA Goalball level I or II referee.

Malmö Open 2014
There are not many things that we can rely on but the fact that the Malmö Open will go ahead each year we can. This multisport bonanza will be taking place on the weekend of 8 and 9 February. For teams that are interested in competing, best visit www.malmo-open.com.
The tournament will be coupled with a referees clinic and recertification clinic commencing on Thursday 6th February for all levels of IBSA Goalball referees. For full details and registration click here.
