Three IBSA sports on 2019 European Youth Games programme

The organisers of the European Para Youth Games have confirmed the sports programme for the event, and three IBSA sports are set to feature.

The European Para Youth Games will take place in Pajulahti, Finland, next year from June 25th to 30th. The games are organised by the European Paralympic Committee and hosted on this occasion by the Finnish Paralympic Committee at the Pajulahti Olympic and Paralympic Training Centre.
 

Three IBSA sports will feature on the eight-sport programme – Goalball and Judo are full medal sports while Showdown will make its debut as an exhibition sport.

Visually impaired athletes will also compete in Athletics and Swimming, while the other sports involved are Boccia, Wheelchair Basketball and Table Tennis. Entries are open to athletes between the ages of 13 to 23, and the organisers expect almost 600 people to take part.
