Sao Paolo, Brazil was selected to host the 2017 IBSA Goalball American Regional Championships (Parapan American Games). This event is the IBSA Americas regional qualifier for the 2017 IBSA World Goalball Championships (Malmö Sweden 2018) and the 2019 Parapan American Games (Lima, Peru).  

The competition is organized by the Brazilian Confederation of Sports for the Visually Impaired and will be located in a new Paralympic Training Center, which offers excellent conditions for all kind of visually impaired sports.

Tentative dates for the Event are from 26th November to 3rd December. The dates include arrival, classification, competition and departure dates.
