Romania and Georgia reach final of IBSA Blind Football European Qualifier

Today is the final day at the IBSA Blind Football European Qualifier and European Championships Division 2 in Bacau, Romania.
At the end of a very successful tournament involving seven countries, the hosts will face Georgia in the final at 17:30 local time. Romania defeated the Czech Republic 4-1 in the semis thanks to four goals from star striker Kovacs, while in the other semi-final Georgia overcame Greece 1-0 in a penalty shoot-out following a 0-0 draw.

At 15:30 Greece and the Czech Republic will play for 3rd and 4th place, while this morning Albania will take on Ireland for 5th and 6th place.
The final and the 3rd-4th place play-off will be streamed live on Exclusiv TV Romania.

Qualification for the final means that Romania and Georgia are now also headed to Berlin, Germany, in August to play in the IBSA Blind Football European Championships.
