Asan 2021 – so called because it was originally scheduled to take place last year – will be the second major competition of 2022. It follows the 2022 IBSA Goalball Americas Championships in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from 15-22 February which was also postponed.

Both competitions will see teams qualify for the Worlds taking place in Hangzhou, China, from 6-18 June.
