Pajulahti 2017 blog: Evolving goalball deserves tournaments of highest quality
Date: September 7, 2017
Category: Goalball
Juha Halme, the Competition Manager of the 2017 IBSA Goalball European Championships, is the nineteenth writer in the Pajulahti 2017 blog.
Halme has plenty of experience from various roles in organizing international goalball tournaments around the world. Even though Finland has a reputation of being able to put together high quality tournaments, Halme points out that the organizers of the European Championships couldn’t have afforded to settle for what they already had. You must be able to improve tournament after tournament.
Halme’s blog entry can be read here: http://www.pajulahti2017.fi/en/blog/4639-we-must-not-settle-for-just-ok-tournaments.
There will be a total of 22 blog entries from 22 different writers in the Pajulahti 2017 blog. A new entry will be published every Wednesday and the last entry will be out a week after the European Championships.
Each entry will be published in both English and Finnish.
The 2017 IBSA Goalball European Championships will be held in the Pajulahti Sports Institute, Finland, from 18th-22nd September.
