The IBSA Blind Football Sports Committee presents the online seminar “Teaching Blind Football to Children”, which will be held on January 18th, between 6pm and 10pm (CET), with support provided by UEFA. It will be free of charge for all participants.

This first edition will be in Portuguese, conducted by Fábio Luiz Ribeiro de Vasconcelos, gold medalist in all Paralympic Games (as a goalkeeper in 2004, 2008, and 2012 and as head coach in 2016 and 2020 of the Brazil Blind Football National Team).

The seminar will have the following topics:

• Physiological and maturational aspects of sports training, by Alexandre Sérgio Silva;
• Sports initiation for the blind, by Antônio Luiz Ferreira Bahia;
• Games to introduce the dynamics of the sport, by Luis Felipe Castelli Correia de Campos;
• Rules and tactical systems: their functions in football for the blind, by Fábio Luiz Ribeiro de Vasconcelos.
