Reigning African champions Morocco and hosts Nigeria today edged closer to securing slots in the semi-finals of the 2019 IBSA Blind Football African Championships.
Following technical difficulties concerning the facilities which meant no play was possible yesterday, a new venue was found and readied for the start of match day two early this morning.
In group A Nigeria, making its international debut in blind football, sits top of the table on maximum six points, ahead of Ivory Coast on four, Cameroon on one and Libya on zero points.
Cameroon and Ivory Coast played out a tense 0-0 draw, while Nigeria won 2-0 on a walkover following the withdrawal of Libya from the tournament after match day one.
