The International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) Goalball is inviting referees to register their interest in officiating at the re-scheduled IBSA Goalball Americas Championships in Sao Paulo, Brazil from 15-22 February.

The competition was originally scheduled to take place in October 2021, but was postponed to 2022 to ensure as many countries as possible could compete.

Referees who are interested can email [email protected] and to [email protected] no later than 24 October. Selected referees will be informed via email to confirm their appointment and accept their selection.

Three competitions remain on the schedule for 2021. The IBSA Goalball European Championships A will take place in Samsun, Turkey, from 1-13 November, and will be swiftly followed by the Euros C in Targu Mures, Romania, from 14-21 November.

The 2021 IBSA Goalball African Championships in Cape Coast, Ghana, will round-off the years action from 6-10 December.
