During the 2022 IBSA Judo World Championships, that took place in Baku, the IBSA members present in Azerbaijan’s capital, had the opportunity to meet with Marianna Vasileva, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport of the country which hosted the biggest IBSA’s Judo competition.

The Azeri government member attended the event to meet with national representatives, and she expressed her personal support for IBSA’s future development.

IBSA member countries took the chance to discuss several issues regarding the development of the organisation and the challenges that lie ahead, less than two years from Paris 2024.
