The building will be in the heart of the city, in one of the most beautiful locations in Paris, in the Champ de Marsh Arena, opposite the Eiffel Tower. The huge hall can accommodate 8-9,000 spectators. The warm-up and other auxiliary rooms will be located in a temporary tent attached to the building.
On the first day of the test event, the individual competitions took place, while on the second day, the team competitions were tested. (There is no Paralympic team competition). The French provided the competitors for the competition.
The test is not primarily for the competitors but for the operation of the hall, international and domestic officials, professionals, and information technology. Once again, Omega provides the IT background.
The IJF, IBSA Judo, and domestic experts were also satisfied with the two-day test.
During the trial, the detailed programme of Paralmypia’s judo competitions was finalised.
