Judo: Baku to crown new world champions

All set at the Heydar Aliyev Arena, in Baku (Azerbaijan), for the 2022 IBSA Judo World Championships.
Almost 250 athletes from 41 countries will be fighting for the world title in eight categories for each of the two classes (J1 and J2), in men and women.
The list of participating countries is as follows: Algeria, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Canada, Croatia, Cuba, Egypt, France, Great Britain, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Korea, Lybia, Lithuania, Moldova, Mongolia, Netherlands, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Chinese Taipei, Turkiye, Ukraine, Uruguay, United States, Uzbekistan, and Venezuela.
The draw ceremony will take place today at 5.30 pm CET (8.30 pm local time) and can be followed via live stream on the IBSA YouTube channel.
