Judo: Baku in another step for Paris 2024

One month after the 2023 IBSA World Games in Birmingham, UK, Judo returns to competition in the 2023 IBSA Judo Grand Prix in Baku, Azerbaijan.

195 athletes from 36 countries will fight for the double points given by this tournament in the last stage of the Road to Paris 2024.

The National Gymnastics Arena in Baku will host the event for the next two days with the following schedule (CET, +2 local time):

Tuesday, 26th September
8.30 am – Preliminaries
Men (J1 -60kg; J1 -73kg; J2 -60kg; J2 -73kg)
Women (J1 -48kg; J2 -48kg; J2 -57kg)
2pm – Opening ceremony
4pm – Final block and medal ceremonies

Wednesday, 27th September
9.30am – Preliminaries
Men (J1 -90kg; J1 +90kg; J2 -90kg; J2 +90kg)
Women (J1 -57kg; J1 -70kg; J1 +70kg; J2 -70kg; J2 +70kg)
3pm – Final block and medal ceremonies
