Date: November 19, 2023
Category: Judo
The Judo national team of Brazil took all the gold medals on the first day of competition in the Para Pan American Games – Santiago 2023, for the lightweight categories.
The strength of the green and yellow squad was already proven in all corners of the world, so playing on their own continent, the story wasn’t supposed to be different, and it wasn’t.
The Brazilian gold river started with Thiego Marques, the former leader of the ranking last year, but with a different path this year, until now. You can read his story in detail here.
Harlley Pereira came in next in the -73kg category, and Lucia da Silva followed the same road to success.
