Date: September 7, 2015

Category: Football

Iran defeated China 1-0 on penalty kicks to take the title of Asian Blind Football Champions earlier today in the reain-soaked final in Tokyo, Japan.

At the end of the 50 minutes regular time and extra time there was nothing to separate the teams and the score remained 1-0. It was Iran that broke the deadlock from the penalty spot to take the Asian title from 2013 winners China.

Korea took the bronze medals, defeating hosts Japan in another penalty shoot-out, while Malaysia finished fifth, defeating India 1-0 in the first match of the day.
