Iran invites male youth teams and aspiring referees to tournament

Date: December 15, 2012

Category: Goalball

The Iranian Blind Sport Federation will be organizing an international youth tournament during the spring of 2013. The tournament will also double up as a referees’ clinic.

Male youth under-21 teams are invited to participate in this tournament, with each team allowed to register one player over the age of 21. This means that each team can still have an experienced player on the court.

The tournament will run from April 29 until May 3 in a location that will soon be announced.

However, players who wish to get more experience at the international level are not the only ones welcome; the tournament will also be a refereeing clinic for those wishing to become an IBSA Goalball level I or level II referee.

If you would like more information regarding this tournament please contact Houshang Shariati at [email protected]
