India to host international blind football tournament in November

The Indian Blind Football Federation has announced plans to hold an international blind football competition later this year.
The tournament will take place in Kochi from Friday 30th November until Monday 3rd December and is set to be granted ranking status by the IBSA Football Committee.
The grand final of the event is planned for Monday 3rd December to coincide with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
IBFF recently hosted the Australian national B1 team for a friendly series in Sept'18 and conducted a 3-nation international IBSA ranking tournament in December 16.
As local organisers, IBFF will be taking care of the local logistics, medical, IBSA referees and other local arrangements. Teams interested in taking part are expected to cover their travel costs, visas and insurance, and IBFF and can recommend various accommodation options including food according to the team's budget.
IBFF is working towards having the event streamed live and is aiming to make the tournament an IBSA ranking event.
