IBSA World Games open in style

The Seoul 2015 IBSA World Games kicked off in spectacular fashion earlier today with a fantastic opening ceremony in the Korean capital.
Featuring traditional Korean drumming and fine performances from locally visually impaired musicians and singers, Honorary President of the games Guus Hiddink and IBSA President Jannie Hammershoi welcomed athletes and officials to the games before The Korean Minister for Culture and Sports officially declared the event open.
Competition begins tomorrow morning in nine of the competitions – Athletics, Chess, Football B1, Football B2-B3, Goalball, Powerlifting, Showdown, Swimming and Tenpin bowling. Judo starts on Wednesday morning.
