IBSA Partially Sighted Football European Championships 2018 confirmed

The IBSA Football Committee has announced the dates and venue for European Championships in the B2/B3 (partially sighted players) category later this year.

The championships will take place in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, from October 15th to October 25th, 2018, and will be hosted by the Georgian National Football Federation for the Blind and Visually Impaired in partnership with the Georgian Paralympic Committee.

The tournament is open to a maximum of eight teams and the ISAS on-line entry system will be used for the first time in a sanctioned IBSA football event.

Provisional schedule   

15th October 2018 – Arrivals
16th October 2018 – Sight classification, training and technical meeting
17th October 2018 – Sight classification, training and opening ceremony
18th/19th/20th October 2018 – Group stage matches
21st October 2018 – Rest day and optional visit to Tbilisi and surroundings
22nd October – Semi-finals and placement matches
23rd October 2018 – 3rd-4th place match and placement matches
24th October 2018 – Final & awards ceremony with gala dinner
25th of October 2018 – Departures

The entry fee per person per day is 100 Euros.
