IBSA Judo launches call for bids to host major championships

The IBSA Judo Committee is looking to secure hosts as early as possible for its major events in the coming years. To this end, it has launched a call for countries to submit bids to organise the championships:

The IBSA Judo Committee has started to prepare the next four year program till Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
To determine this, it is seeking hosts for the most important events in the next four years.
These are the following:
– 2017 spring (late March – early June): continental championships (Asia (and Oceania), Pan-American
– 2018 autumn (middle of September – October): World Championships
– 2019 spring (late March – early June): continental championships (Asia (and Oceania), Pan-America.
The championships above provide World Ranking Points, and qualification for the next Paralympic Games starts in 2018 with the World Championships.
We invite IBSA member countries to consider hosting the events.
