Category: Goalball

Above you can find the links to the IBSA Goalball world rankings as of the end of December, 2014. Therefore you can consider these rankings the end of 2014 rankings.

Tournaments that impacted the rankings this last month are the FEDC tournament held in Madrid and the Central American Championships.

Men

After a busy month on the rankings update last month, this month is very quiet.

The top 10 remained unchanged and you have to go into the teens before you find some changes. There are two teams who are making their top 20 debut. Egypt is up to 18 from 29 and Nicaragua has moved up to 19 from 22.

Nicaragua was not the only nation out of the America’s to enjoy a rise this month. Guatemala is now at 24 from 37 while Panama gets the bullet this month. They have risen to 44 from 60

Women

Things may have been quiet on the men’s side but it looks busy compared to the women. There are only two notable changes within the female rankings. Nicaragua has jumped up to 11 from 22 and Costa Rica has replaced Nicaragua at 22 after rising 6 spots from 28.
