Category: Goalball

Above are the links to the full IBSA Goalball world rankings for3 1 December 2013. Please note, despite it saying for 1 December at the top of the pdf documents, we can assure you that this is the correct rankings.

Men
December saw the 2013 IBSA Goalball African Championships take place. This impacted on the male world rankings significantly AS FAR AS THE African nations are concerned.

Algeria has reentered the top 10 and jumped up to number 3. This is on the back of the African Championships where they were absolutely dominant and remained undefeated throughout the whole tournament.

The remaining competing nations from this tournament all debuted on the rankings. Egypt, second place from Africa and qualifier for the 2014 IBSA Goalball World Championships was the highest newcomer at place 14. They were closely followed by Morocco at 19.

The remaining nations of Rwanda, Ghana and Kenya appeared at 32, 42 and 57 respectively.
Otherwise there was little significant movement. Many nations just moved down a few spots due to new nations on the list.

Women
The female world rankings remained the same.
