IBSA Goalball Asia-Pacific Championships update

Saturday is finals day at the IBSA Goalball Asia-Pacific Championships 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Following five days of exciting matches in the men's and women's competition, the medals will be decided tomorrow.

Eight men's teams and six women's teams are taking part in the event.

In today's semi-finals in the women's championships, Japan defeated South Korea 8-1 and China beat Australia 7-3. The final will be played at 16:30 local time.

In the men's semi-finals tomorrow morning, Australia will face China at 09:00, followed by Iran vs Japan at 10:15. The final is scheduled for 17:45 tomorrow evening.

Jon Horsburgh from Australia leads the men's goalscorers on 25, while Iran's Samiri Jalilvand, with 20 goals, is the top female scorer.
