It is with heavy hearts that the IBSA Goalball Subcommittee announces the death of long-time IBSA Goalball official, Dr. Eugenia (Genie) Scott.  Genie, who died on 14 June 2016, devoted over 35 years to Goalball as a coach, official and program administrator at all levels of the sport, to include her service to the 2012 Paralympic Games and the 2015 Parapan American Games.  Additionally, Genie was also a retired university professor who made numerous contributions to the field of adaptive physical education.  She was a friend to all she met and we will dearly miss her in the Goalball community.
