This budget underscores IBSA’s commitment to advancing its strategic goals and priorities for the upcoming year.

Revenue Sources

The 2025 budget plans income from several key sources:

– Membership fees from IBSA member countries

– A revised structure for per capitation and license fees

– Grants from the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and UEFA

– Sponsorship contributions from the IBF Foundation

Note: Grants from the IPC are expected to be confirmed in March 2025 and will be integrated into IBSA’s consolidated budget upon approval.

Expenditure Priorities

The budget has been structured to support IBSA’s strategic objectives, with allocations for:

– Development programs for IBSA sports committees, facilitated by the updated per capitation fee structure

– Organizing an extraordinary General Assembly and Executive Board meeting

– Conducting an independent audit of the 2024 financial performance

– Completing the IBSA review project

– Membership fees for international organizations

– Liability insurance

– Anti-doping initiatives

– Enhancing classification systems in collaboration with the IPC

For the first time, dedicated funding has been allocated to the IBSA Athletes’ Council, emphasizing IBSA’s commitment to athlete representation and engagement. Additionally, the budget includes provisions for administrative and leadership-related activities.

IBSA is also dedicated to strengthening its media presence in 2025, with planned initiatives including website enhancements, optimizing social media engagement, and fostering collaborations with global sports media outlets.

Future Adjustments

IBSA Administration will explore additional revenue opportunities throughout the year, including marketing enhancements, sponsorship efforts, and developing a certification and licensing framework for sport equipment used in IBSA competitions.
