IBSA Europe to hold round table on blind sports

The Czech capital of Prague will play host in December to a meeting to discuss the future of sport for blind and partially sighted athletes in Europe.

The IBSA Europe Chair Round Table 2018 is an open event for anyone interested in helping to further develop VI sports in the continent. 

The round table will be organised and hosted by IBSA Europe and the Czech Blind Sports Federation (CBSF) and will take place from December 13th to 15th. IBSA Europe Chair and CBSF President Zdenek Barlok has extended an open invitation to all blind sports stakeholders in Europe to come together to seek solutions to the challenges facing our sports.

A full day of discussions involving other disability sport partners also is scheduled for Thursday December 14th. The registration fee for the forum is 100 Euros per person per day in a twin room and 150 Euros per person per day in a single room. This includes airport transfer, full board and accommodation in a four-star hotel.

Registration is due by Thursday November 1st.
