IBSA’s Executive Board congratulated this week the newly elected president of the European Judo Union (EJU), Lazlo Toth. The address was made by IBSA vice-president, Ilgar Rahimov, wishing the best of luck in the endeavours to come and inviting Mr. Toth to attend the 2022 IBSA World Championships, which will take place in Baku (Azerbaijan), in November.
IBSA President, Sandro di Girolamo, is looking forward to continue to work closely with EJU, combining synergies between the two federations regarding Paralympic Judo. “I personally congratulate Mr. Toth on his election, and I am sure that the ties between us will grow stronger. We have a common goal, not only at the high performance level, but also in the promotion of the Judo activity for visually impaired people.”
Lazlo Toth expressed his gratitude for the congratulations and also for the kind invitation to the 2022 IBSA Judo World Championships in Baku.
