IBSA Chess World Championships update

The IBSA Chess Committee has released more information about the 2nd IBSA Individual Chess World Championships, which will be hosted in Greece by the Hellenic Sports Federation for Persons with Disabilities later this year.

The championships will now take place from Thursday 11th October until Saturday 21st October in Chalkidiki, near Thessaloniki.

Entry fees, including airport transfers and full board, are 55 Euros per person per day in a triple room, 63 Euros pppd in a double room, and 83 Euros pppd in a single room. 

An advance deposit of 30% of the total amount for accommodation and the IBSA capitation fee per player must be sent to the bank account of the official travel agent of the tournament, the latest by August 20 2018.

All players participating in the 2nd IBSA Individual Chess World Championships must be registered in the new ISAS database and have an active ISAS sport license for 2018 and IBSA Athlete ID Card. For more information please contact [email protected].
