IBSA Chess World Championships confirmed

IBSA has announced that its chess world championships will take place later this year in Călimănești, Romania.
The 1st IBSA Individual Chess World Championships will be held from Sunday 2nd October 2016 until Thursday 13th October 2016.
Sight classification will be provided on Monday October 3rd and Tuesday October 4th, with the competition proper beginning on Wednesday 5th and running through to Wednesday 12th.
Entries for the competition are due by Saturday 10th September and should be sent to [email protected].
The competition will be run under FIDE rules.
