IBSA Chess Sports Committee

The International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) is pleased to announce the members of the IBSA Chess Sports Committee. This committee is dedicated to promoting and developing chess for athletes with visual impairments across the globe.
The committee members, along with their respective roles and countries, are as follows:
Chairperson: Sorin Lapadatu (Romania)
Asia Representative: Kimsanboev Akhadxon (Uzbekistan)
America Representative: José Arturo Torres González (Venezuela)
Europe Representative: Nikos Kalesis (Greece)
Referee Representative: Michail Keramiotis (Greece)
Athletes’ Representative: Pribeanu Dacian (Romania)
Development Manager: Ermek Mukashev (Kyrgyzstan)
The position of Africa Representative remains vacant but will be filled as soon as possible to ensure full regional representation.
