IBSA Blind Football World Championships- update after match day 4

Things are heating up at the IBSA Blind Football World Championships 2014 in Tokyo, Japan, as the competition reaches the final match day of the first stage. The top two teams in each group plus the two best third-placed teams qualify for the next round.

Here are all the results so far:

Group A – Japan, Paraguay, France, Morocco

Hosts Japan and Paraguay secured qualification for the second stage yesterday with a draw against European Championships runners-up France and a win over newcomers Morocco respectively.

Morocco is one of the surprise packages of the tournament, coming third in the group and with a chance of qualifying as one of the two best third-placed teams.

It's a shock for France as they drop out of the race for the medals at the first hurdle, having failed to win any of their games and scoring only one goal. 
 
Group B – Brazil, Turkey, China, Colombia

Brazil faces China (11:00 local time) and Turkey takes on Colombia (13:00 local time) later today in the final group stage games in Group B.
 
Brazil has already qualified for the second stage thanks to its two victories, while Turkey and Colombia have it all to do in order to overtake China for the coveted second-place and automatic qualification. 
 
Group C – Spain, Argentina, South Korea, Germany

Spain vs South Korea (17:30) and Argentina vs Germany (19:30) are today´s final fixtures in Group C.

Argentina is already through to the second stage and assured of first place thanks to its wins over Spain and Korea. The three other teams all have a chance of coming second.
