IBSA Blind Football World Championships kick off today

The 6th IBSA Blind Football World Championships start later today in Tokyo, Japan. The championships bring together twelve of the world's best blind football teams, making it the biggest ever international event in the sport.
The event kicks off with the opening ceremony at 12:00 local time, followed by the first match, in which hosts Japan take on Paraguay (13:30).
At 15:30 local time France face Morocco, marking the first ever game by an African team at world level.
The IBSA Blind Football World Championships 2014 are taking place in Asia for the first time.
